Lionel Messi’s wife, Antonela Roccuzzo, has listed the climate, the people, and the landscape as the three things she loves the most since her husband’s move to Inter Miami.
Note that Lionel Messi has made a significant impact both on and off the field in the United States after leaving European football to join Major League Soccer in the summer of 2023.
Not only has he added two more trophies to his collection with Inter Miami – the Leagues Cup and Supporters’ Shield – but he’s attracted more attention to the American soccer league.
Off the field, Messi’s family has been relishing the warm Miami weather, and his children have adjusted easily to their new environment, according to Antonela.
In an interview with Haute Living, Antonela expressed her love for Miami’s climate, people, and landscape, emphasizing how these factors create a perpetual summer vibe.
She also mentioned the family’s pleasant surprise at the warm welcome they received upon arrival, exceeding their expectations.
She said, “What I love the most about Miami is the climate, the people, and the landscape. All this makes you feel like you’re living in perpetual summer.
“The biggest surprise for us was the warm welcome we received when we arrived. We knew it would be special, but it exceeded all our expectations.
“It has actually been very easy [adapting to life in Miami], and we’re all happy about it. Our main concern was that the kids might not like it or adjust well, but from day one, they adapted very well.”
